　肺胞蛋白症は1958年Rosen^1）らによって初めて報告されたが，その治療法としての肺洗浄法が確立したのは1963年のRamirez-R^2）らの報告以来である。本邦でも既に40例以上の報告例の中に肺洗浄療法を行ったものが次第に増えてきており，その術中のhemodynamicな変動の仕方も知られるようになった^3〜6）。しかし，どのような洗浄液を用いるのがよいかに関しては未だ明確なる報告がなされていない。

　今回，本症の2症例につき計4度の肺洗浄の機会を得た。ここにその経過ならびに洗浄回収液の分析結果などから洗浄液に関するいささかの知見を得たので，その詳細を報告し若干の考察を加えてみた。

From the experiences of the massive pulmonary lavage upon the two cases of alveolarproteinosis, the results on the effect of these lavage were obtained as follow :

1) Prepared degassing of lavaged lung was necessary to get the physical and pharmacological effect at the alveolar level without air pocket,and it seems that the irrigating fluid volume at every lavage were same as FRC of the lavaged lung.
