ヒトにおける心筋組織PO2の測定

Continous measurement of human myocardial tissue oxygen tension

　近年，Polarographyによる組織PO₂の測定法は急速に進歩し，ヒトにおける心拍動下の心筋組織PO₂（myocardial tissue oxygen tension　：　M—PO₂と略す）の連続測定も可能となった。Clark （1953）^1）あるいはTsao （1960）^2）らの方法は電解質内に陽極および陰極の両者を入れる必要があった。最近，開発されたInternational Biophysics Corporation （IBC社製）のoxygen tension monitor625型では，0.83mmの細い陰極（即ちPO₂電極）のみを組織に入れ，陽極は皮膚に貼るだけで良い（図1）。

Polarographic technique of myocardial tissue oxygen tension (IBC oxygen tension system) has been developed. Initially, the method was evaluated in dogs to verify the appropriateness of the directional change of myocardial tissue oxygen tension. Elevation of myocardial tissue oxygen tensions due to intraaortic balloon pumping was noticed under ligation of coronary arteries.
