  • Look Inside

The evaluation of left ventricular performance by noninvasive techniques has received much attention in recent years.

The usefulness of systolic time intervals, such as preejection period (PEP), left ventricular ejection time (LVET) and the ratio PEP/LVET has been proposed by Weissler and associates.

But we designed to evaluate the left ventricular performance by different noninvasive method, an impedance cardiograph which was devised by Kubicek and associates.
