Mitral, aortic and tricuspid valvular re-placements with the hoisted woven teflon tricuspid valve have been performed on 22 patients with survival of 18. Deaths were related with endocarditis, residual aortic insufficiency followed by severe left ven-tricular tachycardia, brain damage due to the excessive prolongation of bypass and unknown cause accompanied with eclampsic attacks. All survivors had satisfactory hemodynamic results and dramatic clinical improvement documented by electrocardio-grams, chest X-rays and catheter studies.
