An Interpretation of the Frank-Starling's Law from a certain pure clinical standpoint

　We have been all deeply impressed with the　excellent editorial　"Starling and the Concept　of Heart Failure"　by Sir G．　Pickering in the　Circulation，　XXI，　March, 1960．　Every re—searcher in cardiology must be also impressed　by the greatness of the law of the heart　established by O．　Frank and Starling．　There—fore, many clinicians have tried to demon—strate this law in man, especially since the　advent of the cardiac catheterization．
