緒　言

　高血圧症の病因^1）に就ては遺伝，環境条件，自律神経系，内分泌系，代謝性因子及び腎性因子等の複雑な因子の関与が想定されているが，その何れが最も重要な役割を演ずるかは個々の症例によつて異り，之を分析する事は容易でない。然し高血圧症例の病因検討の一方法としてadrenolytic及びsympatholyticに働く薬剤が用いられていて之が重要な意義を有することはよく知られたところである。

The changes of blood pressure, pulse, ECG, and side effects by intravenous infusion of Piperidomethyl-benzodioxane (933F) were observed in 40 cases with essential hypertension etc.

A significant elevation of blood pressure was produced in almost cases of hypertension, obesity, and climacteric disturbances by infusion of 933F. In the large number of cases of hypertension, the appearence of a blotchy blush which extends over the face and upper chest with palpitations, warm sensations, and pale or cyanotic exremities were observed.
