肺換気運動機構に関する研究—"肺圧縮率"（Compliance）について

　肺弾性度はJaquet　（1908），　Bernoulli　（1911）の測定に始まり，病的肺については其の後，Christie, Paine其の他の報告がある。以前は胸腔内圧として主として肋膜腔内圧が測定されたが，今日Mead et al, Fry et al．によつて食道内圧が同じく胸腔内圧を敏感に反影することが知られ，之によて肺弾性，さらに肺換気運動機構を力学的に検索することが容易となつた。

　肺換気運動機構を知る上に先ず必要な事は肺弾性抵抗と気流抵抗とを分離測定する事であるが，本報告に於ては肺弾性度を測定する際の2.3の問題点と慣性抵抗の肺圧縮率に及ぼす影響を検討した。

Some important problems on determining the compliance of the lung were discussed especially referring to influence of the inertia and the turbulent resistance in air passages on the pulmonary compliance.

Considering that turbulent resistance in the air passage is similar to inertial resistance and that this sort of resistance increases the compliance apparently, the apparatus to make the marked tur-bulent current, the pressure-flow rate relationship of the apparatus was P=0.6X V², was added to breathing tube, increasing the compliance in the cases with breathing frequency over 40-60 c/s.
