AI内視鏡診断システムの有用性—当院における食道AI内視鏡診断システムの開発と現状

Application of Artificial Intelligence to Detect Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

要旨●当院ではAIメディカルサービス社と協力し，食道扁平上皮癌の内視鏡診断におけるAI診断システムの開発に携わってきた．食道扁平上皮癌の拾い上げ，癌/非癌の鑑別および表在癌に対する深達度診断といった，内視鏡診断の各プロセスにおけるAI診断システムを開発し，その有用性を報告してきた．今後も，AI診断システムの臨床応用に向けて，さらなる開発・研究を進めていく方針である．

　In collaboration with AI（artificial intelligence）Medical Services, Inc., we have developed the AI system for endoscopic diagnosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. We have reported the usefulness of our AI system in various endoscopic diagnostic processes, such as detection, differentiation of cancerous and noncancerous lesions, and diagnosis of invasion depth of superficial esophageal cell carcinoma. Our AI technology is still being developed in order to be used in clinical practice.
