要旨●大腸内視鏡検査における画像強調内視鏡観察(IEE)は病変発見や診断に活用されておりその精度は新たな内視鏡機器の開発により急速に進歩している.昨今これまで用いられてきたキセノン光やレーザー光を用いた内視鏡に加えてLEDを光源とした新しい内視鏡が登場している.またさらなるポリープ発見の精度向上のために種々の観察法の検証が行われており,NBI,BLIおよびLCIなどの特殊モードによる観察が白色光観察に比して有用である可能性が示唆されている.本稿ではIEEの大腸病変発見の有用性について詳説する.
Although IEE(image enhanced endoscopy)in colonoscopy has been used in lesion detection, new endoscopic equipment are being developed to improve its accuracy. Therefore, endoscopes with light-emitting diodes as a light source, which are distinct from xenon and laser lights, have been introduced. Thus, even though observation techniques are verified from time to time, observations using special modes, such as narrow-band imaging, blue laser imaging(blue light imaging), and linked color imaging prevent lesion detection misses and oversights. Based on these facts, IEE has been suggested to be more useful than white light observation. Thus, this paper details the usefulness of IEE for finding colonic lesions.
