LCI(linked color imaging), a narrow-band light, was first used in 2014 for laser endoscopy. It improves the visibility of colorectal lesions, reduces the risk of overlooking adenomas and sessile serrated lesions, and increases the rate of lesion detection. LED(light-emitting diode)endoscopy has been used in Japan since 2020. It improves the visibility of lesions and reduces the risk of missing polyps. A recent multi-center study demonstrated the non-inferiority of LCI compared with laser endoscopy and LED endoscopy in improving the visibility of tumors. Here, we demonstrate the usefulness of LCI in detecting colorectal lesions.
