Cold polypectomy without electrocautery has been used for removing diminutive and small polyps. CFP(Cold forceps polypectomy)using forceps is one of the polypectomy techniques. Jumbo forceps designed with a greater capacity are adequate for removing diminutive polyps. This technique is easy, quick, and safe, with a polyp retrieval rate of 100%. Although no study has reported related complications, such as delayed bleeding and/or immediate perforation, with CFP, it poses a risk of local recurrence because of no electrocautery effect after polypectomy. For complete removal, the post-polypectomy site should be assessed using narrow band imaging with magnification after creating a submucosa tamponade using water-jet irrigation. We anticipate widespread recognition of CFP for eradicating diminutive polyps without any complications.
