要旨

　喉頭裂Ⅰ型と診断された生後11カ月患者の麻酔を施行し，ビデオ喉頭鏡を用いて喉頭の評価を行った。喉頭裂Ⅰ型は小児の嚥下障害や呼吸障害の原因となりうる先天奇形である。喉頭裂は披裂部の粘膜辺縁に覆われるため観察が難しい場合があるが，ビデオ喉頭鏡を用いた至近からの観察や裂を広げる操作は評価に有用と思われる。

　We administered anesthesia to an 11-month-old patient diagnosed with a type Ⅰ laryngeal cleft and used a videolaryngoscope for laryngeal observation. A laryngeal cleft, which is a congenital anomaly affecting the aerodigestive tract, can result in dysphagia and respiratory disorders in children. It may be difficult to directly observe the larynge cleft, due to the laryngeal cleft’s coverage by the mucous membrane of the interarytenoid notch. In the present case, the use of a videolaryngoscope for close-range observation and manipulation to widen the patient’s laryngeal cleft proved to be valuable for achieving an accurate diagnosis.
