Gorham病はリンパ管奇形に類別され，小児・若年者に好発するリンパ管の非腫瘍性増殖による進行性の骨溶解や周囲の組織浸潤をきたす原因不明の極めてまれな疾患である。今回我々は，画像から診断に迫ることが可能であった1例を経験したため，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

An adolescent male with chronic right hip pain and an abnormal gait following an injury was referred to our hospital. Plain radiography and CT revealed cortical and medullary bone destructions in the right femur. MRI showed patchy high-intensity signals on T2-weighted images without diffusion restrictions. The lesion extended on follow-up MRI and Gorham’s disease was suspected. In Gorham’s disease, lesions show markedly T2 high-intensity signals reflecting lymphatic vessels proliferation, which is observed in cortical bones as well as surrounding soft tissues. The presence of unexplained bone destruction with these findings suggests the possibility of Gorham’s disease.
