大網充塡術の合併症として大網梗塞が起こることが知られているが，手術を施行し長期間経過してからの発症は我々の検索の限り存在しない。今回我々は，大網充塡術の17年後に上腹部痛を主訴に発症した大網梗塞の症例を経験したことから文献的考察を加えて報告する。

We reported a case of omental infarction presenting with epigastric pain in the late postoperative period following omentoplasty for sternal dehiscence. Postoperative omental infarction is a rare occurrence, and to the best of our knowledge, no cases have been previously reported. If CT imaging shows fat stranding within the omental flap, suggestive of necrosis and inflammatory cell infiltration, along with interruption of the feeding artery, these findings may support a diagnosis of omental infarction.
