T2強調像で著明高信号の充実性腫瘤像を呈した卵巣甲状腺腫の1例

A case of struma ovarii presenting as a solid mass with prominent high signal intensity on T2-weighted image

卵巣甲状腺腫の嚢胞がT2強調像で低信号を示すことは知られているが，充実部の信号に関しては中等度～高信号を示すと報告されている^1）。今回，卵巣甲状腺腫の充実部分がT2強調像で著明高信号を示し診断に苦慮した症例を経験したので，画像所見と病理所見を比較し，文献的な考察を加えて報告する。

It is known that cysts in struma ovarii show low signal intensity on T2-weighted images, but solid components have been reported from intermediate to high signal intensity on T2-weighted images. we experienced a case in which solid components in struma ovarii showed prominent high signal intensity T2-weighted image, and we compared CT and MRI imaging findings with pathologic findings. The results suggested that colloid content plays a significant role in the signal intensity on T2-weighted images in the solid components in struma ovarii.
