国際化に伴い，新興再興感染症の診療の重要性が増してきている。新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）に加え，近年の温暖化に伴う気候変化による熱帯地域の感染症の流行拡大も懸念されている。しかし，本邦において，重症の新興再興感染症に対する集中治療を行うための指針はない。そこで，本邦における敗血症診療の指針である，日本版敗血症診療ガイドライン2020が重症の新興再興感染症の診療に応用できる可能性について検討しまとめた。

In light of globalization, the importance of clinical management of patients with （re-）emerging infectious diseases is increasing. In addition to COVID-19, there are concerns about the spread of tropical infectious diseases due to climate change caused by global warming in recent years. However, there are no specific guidelines for critical care of patients with severe （re-）emerging infectious diseases in Japan. We describe the applicability of the Japanese Clinical Practice Guidelines for Management of Sepsis and Septic Shock 2020 to the treatment of patients with severe （re-）emerging infectious diseases.
