上肢の先天異常についてX線を提示しながら骨形態の特徴を述べた．部位別に比較的よく遭遇する疾患(肩のSprengel変形，肘の橈尺骨癒合症，前腕・手の橈側列形成不全による内反手，手関節のLeri-Weill異軟骨骨症によるMadelung変形など)を提示した．手指については先天異常分類表にそって代表例を示した．いずれも印象に残りやすい画像所見を呈するものを選択したが，診断に際しては単純X線やCT画像に基づいた正しい認識が重要である．

Radiographic features of congenital anomalies in the upper extremities are presented in the article.　Sprengel deformity in the shoulder, radioulnar synostosis in the elbow, club hand and Madelung deformity in the wrist are focused on and explained.　X-ray findings of impressive cases of hand deformities are shown with the classification items of congenital hand anomalies.　Good radiographycal information is important in treating cases of such congenital anomalies.
