気管支粘液栓塞症の1症例

A Case of Mucoid Impaction of the Bronchi

I．はじめに

　気管支粘液栓塞症（mucoid impaction of thebronchi）は1951年Showによって命名された疾患である。主として気管支喘息の既往をもつ患者に，その病名が示すごとく気管支粘液の栓塞により肺炎，無気肺，肺膿瘍，気管支拡張症などに似たような病状を呈する。われわれの渉猟しえた範囲では本邦においては8例の報告を数えるにすぎない。今回われわれは本症の発現に抗ヒスタミン剤（酒石酸アリメマジン）が関与したと思われる1症例を経験したので，その概要を述べるとともに若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A 2-year-old boy had been suffering from severe cough. Under the diagnosis of bronchial foreign body, direct bronchoscopy was performed, and it was revealed that a mucoid plug was filling in the left bronchial lumen. A piece of the mucoid plug was 5cm in length and its shape resembled to the lumen of left bronchus. Antihistamine agents were thought to be responsible for plug formation in this particular case.
