I．緒言

　原発性舌根部悪性腫瘍の報告は多いが転移性舌根部悪性腫瘍の報告はきわめて稀である。最近われわれは舌根へ転移したGrawitz腫瘍（renal cellcarcinoma）の1症例を経験したので文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Metastatic renal cell carcinoma of the base of the tongue in a 57-year-old man was described. The first biopsy was diagnosed as capillary fibrohemangioma. But histological examination after surgical removal of the tumor revealed renal cell carcinoma metastasized to the base of tongue.

　The patient is still alive at time of this report.
