I．はじめに

　フィブリン接着剤（Tisseel^®）は，凍結乾燥ヒトフィブリノーゲンから作製された組織接着剤で，従来の人工接着剤と異なり，種々の利点を有するため，欧州では広く臨床に応用されている。今回，フィブリン接着剤を主として中耳手術症例に用いる機会があったので，その概略を報告する。

　Fibrin adhesive was used in 25 operations including 20 middle ear surgeries, 4 pansinectomies and one palatoplasty. Fibrin adhesive was prepared by mixing fibrinogen solution and thromboplastin. In 11 cases of tympanoplasty, fibrin adhesive was used for myringoplasty, ossicular reconstruction and scutum plasty. Adhesion of temporal fascia and columella was satisfactorily accomplished in few minutes. It enabled us to handle the surrounding structures without disturbing the glued ossicles or fascia. In case of sinectomy, mucosa of the control hole was glued down to the floor of the maxillary sinus. In palatoplasty, the palatal flap was easily fixed to the hard palate.
