I．はじめに

　レーザ光の干渉現象を応用した特殊な光学技術，ホログラフィholographyが，理工学の領域，さらに最近では医学・生物学の分野で様々な用途に用いられている^1〜6）。

　ホログラフィの数々の応用法は，そのいずれもが技術的に非常に特異であり，かつ，重要なものであるが，その基本的な原理は光波の振幅（強度）と位相を含めた情報，すなわち，光の波面そのものの記録と再生であるといえる（図1）。

　A device displaying three-dimensional figures of some otological specimens with the use of "multiplex holograms" is reported.

　The process of recording the hologram and its reconstruction were explained in this paper.

　In medical and educational viewpoints three-dimensional display of clinical, pathological and radiological findings is of the most importance and of great value.

　The authors emphasized that the device is very persuasive and instructive to display anatomical structures and clinical findings three-dimensionally.
