　I．はじめに

　外鼻の先天性奇形の発現頻度は，他の部位の奇形に比しきわめて稀であるとされる。わが国における症例報告は，昭和23年の武田^1）の報告に始まり，現在まで10例の報告例が^1）〜9）ある。われわれは最近，鼻背部に瘻管を有し，篩骨前部から鶏冠に達する深達性の皮様嚢胞を形成していた症例を経験したので，症例の報告にあわせて文献的考察を加えた。

　A congenital median nasal fistula with an epidermoid cyst in a 8-year-old boy was reported. Two fistulous tracts were found, one at the nasal dorsum and another at the right orbital canthus, and the latter was secondarily formed by concomitant abscess.

　The epidermoid cyst occupied the entire anterior portion of the right ethmoid sinus extending along the tegmen and ending in the crista galli as a fibrous strand. The cyst wall was lined by squamous epithelium and the content showed a cheesy mass mixed with degenerated pieces of hair.
