　はじめに

　頭頸部領域における先天奇形の報告は比較的多いが，外鼻の先天奇形の発現頻度はほかの頭頸部領域における先天奇形の報告に比べると稀であるとされている。われわれは最近，鼻背部に瘻孔を有し篩骨前部より前頭蓋底部に達する先天性鼻瘻孔の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A congenital median nasal fistula with exten-sion to anterior skull base in a 4-year-old boy presenting a swelling of the dorsum nasi is repor-ted. Preoperative CT scan revealed an enlargedpersistent foramen cecum and a bifid crista galli.

The fistula was totally removed surgically under a microscope and the postopertive defect of the nasal bone was reconstructed with a graft fromthe iliac bone. The pathological findings showed a dermoid cyst.

The patient was well postoperatively with good cosmetic result.
