Ⅰ．緒言
眼窩腫瘍は高安1）の1964年の統計によれば，全眼疾患中0.17％であり，さらに眼窩腫瘍のうちNeurilemmomaは1.76％とされている。またReese2）によれば，眼窩腫瘍877例中Neurilemmomaは16例と0.18％であり，眼窩Neurilemmomaはきわめて稀な疾患であるといえる。
また眼窩腫瘍は眼窩という眼科と耳鼻科の境界領域に存在するため耳鼻科にて取扱われることもかなり多いものと思われる。
A case of neurilemmoma of the ocular fossa in a girl, aged 18, is reported. The patient complained of the protrusion of the left eye.
With a tentative diagnosis of the causative factor as being, either, mucocyst of the frontal sinus or ocular fossa tumor, the frontal sinus was opened surgically by Killian's method. The frontal sinus was normal. There was a well-capsulated grayish tumor in the ocular fossa attached closely to the upper wall. The mass was removed en toto.
Pathological examination revealed the mass as being an Antoni's type A neurilemmoma.
The patient in fast recovering.
