　Ⅰ．緒言

　右側大動脈弓は胎生期における血管系の発生異常に起因する畸型の一つであるが，本症の報告は1913年Mohr^8）の一例が最初とされ，本邦では1948年野崎，関谷^11）の記載が最初である。その後本症についての報告は散見される^15）が，本症は一つの境界領域に属する疾患で，比較的自覚症状を呈さずに経過する場合が多いので，耳鼻咽喉科医が臨床上本疾患に接する機会はまれと考えられる。私たちは最近食道造影の際，偶然に見出し得た本症の1例を経験したので，その概略を報告する。

　A case of right-sided aortic arch considered as an encircling type was found in a woman, age 65. Because of this anomaly the esophagus appeared to be pressed against from the right and left sides as well as from the back. For this reason the latter organ appeared to be displaced laterally to the left and also anteriorly, showing a curvature of reversed S in shape.The ascending part of the aorta coursed over the right main bronchus to reach the left side passing over the esophagus and the midline of the spinal column.
