　緒言

　咽頭憩室はそれ程稀なものではないが，最近われわれは喉頭全剔，左頸部廓清を行なつた後，約7ヵ月後に気管断端口上約4cm前頸部正中に憩室の発生をみ，同時に興味ある食道所見を呈した1例を経験したのでその概略を報告する。

A pharyngeal diverticula developed in a patient, who was operated for total larynge-ctomy because of a laryngeal cancer 7 months before. The diverticula was situated about 4cm above the level in which the trachea was di-vided for removal. Examination of the patient revealed a tertiary contraction of the esopha-gus below the level of the aortic arch; eso-phageal dyskinesia is considerable. Causative factors contributory to the present status, the authors believe, are most likely the result of disturbance of normal activity of the esopha-gus from a pressure without caused by meta-stic growths in the mediastinum whereby atrophic changes developed in the esophageal muscles.
