　Ⅰ．序言

　Recklinghausen氏多発神経線維腫症は，種々の脳神経及び末梢神経に神経線維腫を生ずるが，就中，内耳神経に発生し易い。そのためわが耳鼻咽喉科領域においても，1822年Wishartの報告以来多数の報告をみるが，何れも主として内耳神経障害を中心とした検索が行われている。しかるに最近，私共は右耳介周囲の無痛性腫脹を主訴とし，内耳神経障害が見られなかつた極めて稀な一例に遭遇し，手術及びRa照射により軽快せしめ得た症例を経験したので報告する。

A case of Recklinghausen's multiple neurin-oma with painless tumors around the peri-auricular region is reported. The patient was a boy, aged 16. The tumor around the ear lobe gradually enlarged in their size within the last 4 years. Any functional loss in the inner ear nerves was not recognized. Sub-cutaneous tumefactions and pigmented spots abounded in presence, particularly towards the back of the ear. In treatment much of the tumors were removed surgically and it was followed by irradiation of this area. Improvement was seen. No element of this condition being hereditary in nature was recognized.
