　I．緒言

　1909年にBlairは，後鼻孔閉鎖症に対する経口蓋手術法を発表しているが，その後，Ruddy^1），Owens^2）等の報告に於て，色々と考案改良が企てられ，現在では広く採用されている傾向にある。我々も最近本症3例の手術経験を得たので報告する。

Three cases of postnasal atresia were operated by palatine approach ; the mucous membrane of the atresia was saved during the operative procedure in order to use it as a membranous lining of the newly established choanal Ven-ing at the close of the operation. These patients were re-examined 1 year and 3 mon-ths to 4 years and 7 months after the operation with good results. The palatine approach afforded ample operative field, direct vision, a complete removal of obstructing atresial tissues and a means by which any injury to the mouth of the auditory tube may be avo-ided.
