緒言
内耳性難聴に対する薬物治療は，かなりの好成績をあげ得るに至つたとはいえ，依然として治療において困難を感ずるものの一つである。
最近中村教授らは，ストマイ難聴の細胞化学的研究から，ストマイ難聴の障害の中心をなすものは，解糖呼吸系及びTCA環にありとするのが妥当であると結論し，又パントテン酸が，解糖呼吸系において重要な位置を占めるCoAの構成成分をなしている事は，Colowick及びKaplan，船橋，赤沢等により証明されており，兵は，酸素消費量の測定にて，パントテン酸とDHSMを混注することによりDHSM単独投与の場合よりも酸素消費量の増加を確認している。
Minagawa employed pantol (100mg intrav-enous) and naiclin (150mg per oral) for trea-tment of 18 cases 33 ears of inner-ear deafn-ess. The results were as follows : The agents appeared to be effective in re-covery of hearing in 45% of cases in which they were used.
They appeared to the most effective in to-xic deafness particularly streptomycin deaf-ness with 60% effectivity. with cases of un-derterminable cause the effectivity was 37% and with head injuries it was 12%.
The agents in their use show no side-eff-ects and they are administered with eaae.
