労災に於ける身体障害認定基準—特に聴器障害取扱いの改正を中心として

I．緒言

　昭和32年2月それ迄使用されていた「身体障害等級認定必携」の全面的な改訂を労働省で企画し，過去の経験に基く施行上の問題点を各労災病院の間に組織された身体障害認定基準調査委員会に諮問した。爾来2年有余に亘り，現行の障害補償に関する基準を変更することなく，医学的な立場から再検討を行い，本年3月「身体障害認定基準精義」なるものが出版されるに至つた。耳科領域からも数人参加したが，その根本精神は耳科領域の障害補償基準を適切妥当なところに改めることにあつたが，労災病院に於ける経験が比較的多かつたこと及び地の利から主として私がこれをまとめたのである。然し日本には斯る本がない為もあり，労災以外でもかなり広く使用されるに至つているのでここに改正点を含む大綱（耳と鼻に限る）を報告し，諸賢の御批判，御教示を仰ぐ次第である。

　As a member of the committee who effected an amendment to the basic rule of treatment in occupational disease insurance, the author presents the highlight in the parts that are concerned with the diseases of the ear and nose. The principle changes that were effected are : The method of calculating the average hearing loss in the pure and conversational tones from (a+2b+c)/4 to (a+2b+2c+d)/6, and inclusion into considerations acute tonal hearing disturbances, traumatic rupture of the tympanic membrane and functional disturbences of equilibrium. The basis of diagnosis for external cause of tinnitus aurium and occupational deafness is discussed.
