　I．緒言

　私は昭和31年8月関東地方会横浜大会に於いて聴神経腫瘍早期剔出の1症例に就き述べ耳鼻と臨床に発表したが，最近再び1例を経験したのでその診断経過及び特に一過性閾値変動を中心とする聴力検査成績に関し報告し御批判を仰ぐ次第である。

　Kawamura reports a case of, auditory nerve tumor that was confirmed by an operation to be a cerebellar neurinoma. The size of this tumor was as large as a pigion egg. Findings of labyrinthine loss of hearing, lowering of vesticular function, decreased retinal reflex and facial paralysis the all of which manifested on the left side of the body formed the basis of clinical diagnosis. Presence of temporary threshold shift which is easily applicable as a test is an important criteria as a sign for a good recovery after the operation.
