　食道異物のうち貨幣は最も頻度の多いものであるが，それが2枚以上重なつて食道異物となることは比較的稀なことである。本邦における報告をみても2枚のもの16例，3枚のものが3例にすぎず，4枚というものはこれをみない。我々は10円貨幣4枚の食道異物症例を経験し，食道直達鏡下に同時に摘出することが出来たので報告したい。

Esophageal foreign body caused by swallo-wing of metal coin is reported. Instances of this nature is not a rare occurrence but the present case is interesting in that the forei-gn body was composed of 4 pieces of ten-yen coins lying close together. It is revealed that there are only 10 cases of similar multi-ple foreign body, so far, reported in the li-terature of this country. The removal was effected by esophaguscopy with all four pie-ces en masse. The autnors stress the impor-tance of making X-ray diagnosis to establish the identity of the foreign body both, in re-gards to the nature and number.
