頸部食道外切開により摘出した義歯（上顎のパラタル・バー使用有鈎義歯）食道異物の1例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　食道異物には種類が多く，またその摘出にあたつては異物の形状・材質により難易に差がある。比較的頻繁にみられ且つ摘出に困難を感ずる異物は義歯ことに有鈎部分義歯であろう。

　最近著者等は上顎のパラタル・バー使用有鈎義歯（右第二小臼歯，第一大臼歯，左第二小臼歯，第一大臼歯）食道異物の1症例に遭遇し，食道鏡による摘出が甚だ困難であり，結局頸部食道外切開術により摘出し得たのでここに報告する。

Totsuka and Sato report a case of esopha-geal foreign body that required an external approach for its removal.Esophagoscopy revealed the foreign body to be consisting of denture equiped with sharp holding clasps on its either end and direct removal through the esophagus, therefore, was considered as to be dangerous in causing an inevitable tear in that organ.Following the operation of exter-nal approach for the removal the patient recovered uneventfully.
