重複食道異物（貨幣）の1例

AN ESOPHAGEAL FOREIGN BODY DUE TO SWALLOWING OF COINS

　I．はじめに

　食道異物の中で貨幣の頻度はもつとも高く，耳鼻科医として時々経験するものである。しかし，そのほとんどが単一貨幣異物であつて，貨幣が2枚あるいはそれ以上重複して食道異物となることは，比較的稀であるといわれている。私たちは10円硬貨1枚，1円アルミ貨1枚の食道異物症例に遭遇し，直達鏡下に摘出し得たので，その症例と重複貨幣食道異物症診断上におけるX線検査の意義について検討したので，併せて報告する。

　Among the cases of esophageal foreign bodies the hard coin appear to be the most frequent culprits. This is, undoubtedly, experienced by the majority of ENT specialists. Most of the foreign bodies of this nature are caused by a single coin, whereas, their multiplicity is rare indeed.

　However, we have recently experienced a case of multiple foreign body in a 2 year-old infant that consisted of 2 pieces of coins, one 10 yen and one 1 yen aluminum piece.

　These pieces were successfully removed under esophagoscopy.

　The diagnosis was confirmed by x-ray examination.
