　緒言

　鼻瘤は欧米に於ては比較的多い疾患とされているが，我国に於ては稀なものの様である。私共は最近，本症の1例に遭遇し，手術的に患部組織を切除整形し，略満足すべき結果を得たので，茲に報告御参考に供したい。

Operative treatment of enlargement of the tip of the nose, Particularly the ala nasi as well as the tip, is descriced. The eniarge-ment occured within the period of three ye-ars in a man, aged 68. From the center of the enlargement a stellate area was marked off and removed bringing the incised edges together with sutures. Microscopically the removed tissue was found to be composed mainly of connective tissues; cebaceous gla-nds were somewhat dialated but not hyper-trophic and no increase of vascular structu-res were recognized.
