　眼窩を通過した異物が後臼歯三角に溜り，長期間牙関緊急の為摂食障碍のあつた報告はない。最近手榴弾破片が眼窩を通過して後臼歯三角に10年間停溜し，牙関緊急があるにも係らず留弾の存在を知らずに生活していた患者の1例を報告し，異物の写真を携載する。

Numata reports a case in that a metallic foreign body had lodged itself in the triangular area behind the molar teeth for a period of ten years. A man aged 39 a fisherman by occupa-tion complained of sore throat and symptoms of lock-jaw. Ten years ago while in the armed service the patient was injured in the right eye by gunshot wound from a piece of explod-ing hand grenade. The wound was treated without attention, at the time, to presence, of present foreign body. Three days after the removal of the foreign body the patient was enabled to open his mouth to the width of 3 cm.
