騒音環境炭礦勞務者のオーヂオグラムに就て

　職業性難聽の臨床的調査並に實驗的研究に關する多くの歴史的文献に就ては，最近の研究諸家による紹介によつて今更云々する必要もないが，特に本疾患の成立機轉を實驗的に究明せんとしたWittmaack（1907）の骨導説とSiebemann及び吉井の氣導説との久しきに亙る論爭は餘りにも有名であつて，之に端を發した研究が非常に盛んになり，多くの優れた業績を産むに至つたこととは文献の教える通りである。

　就中吾々の如く工場鑛山勤務者にとつて興味のあるのはBodenerschütterungとKatzchmann（1930）の云う作業機械によるErschütterungs-schwerhörigkeitであって，工場建築或は作業方法の改善等に重要な指針を與えていることを見逃すことは出來ない。にも拘らず獨逸を除いては，斯樣に貴重な成果が實際社會と直結するに至らず當時の社會状勢の幼稚さと相俟つて，工場衞生的見地から論議され且つ考慮された形蹟は極めて薄い。處が本邦に於ては最近になつて本疾患が工場衞生管理の方面から重視せられるに至つたのと，調査が從來の音叉に代つて電氣音響學的機械の登場により新らしい事實が發見され，從來の調査全般に亘り一應再検討の必要が生するに至つたのとで本疾患に對する調査研究が再燃し，あらゆる角度から多數の學者や工場擔當醫によつて検討され大いなる飛躍と發展が期待されつつある。

　SAKAGUCHI finds a typical C5 clips and related curve of impaired hearing in the audiograms taken from a large majorities of miners whose work is in the pit and factory workers the makers of tincans. In comparisonj to audiograms of those affected with impaired hearing by various other causes this finding appears to establish a significant diagnostic criteria of occupational hazzard. Appearance of C5 dip seems to be a symptom manifested rather early in the course of disease; thelonger the period of exposure to the hazzard the more acute is the descent of the curve both, in the lowtone as well as the high. But all hearing loss of this nature may not be assumed by initial C5 dip; other forms are also recognized.
