氣管支異物と外傷性氣胸

　緒言

　氣管及び氣管支異物は臨床上，別に珍しいことでもないが，最近我が教室で経驗せる症例は異物が特異な形をなすために，其の除去に際して非常なる困難を感じ，摘出時，外傷性氣胸を併発し虚脱症状を惹起した例である．之等は氣管支異物摘出時の参考になる点が尠くないと共に，氣胸時偶発の虚脱症状の成因を説明する上に重要な資料となると思はれるので茲に報告することにする．

Yamanobe reports a male child 5 years old, while playing, accidently swallowed the Mouth piece of a toy trumpet which lodged in the bronchus as it was later revealed by X-ray exa-mination. During the process of removal of the foreign body by bronchoscopy traumatic injury of the bronchus provoked a marked collapse of lu-ngs and an alarming state of emergency. Ho-wever the patient speedily recovered after suc-cessful removal of the foreign body. The author states the collapse of lungs and the consequent state of emergency were likely due traumatic pneumothorax which caused increased, medias-tinal pressure and pressure on the heart.
