I．はじめに

　原発性頭蓋内扁平上皮癌（primary intracranial squamous cell carcinoma：以下PISCCと略す）とされる例は，頭蓋内類表皮嚢胞または類皮嚢胞が悪性化した症例も含め渉猟し得た範囲では約30例が報告^1-17）されている．

　われわれは，頭痛，嘔吐にて発症し，腫瘍細胞より少量のβ-HCGとCEAを産生し，おそらく頭蓋内原発性と思われた扁平上皮癌（PISCC）の1剖検例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Abstract

　An autopsied case of primary intracranial squamous cell carcinoma (PISCC) is reported, and 25 previously reported cases of PISCC, followed by the Garcia's criteria, are reviewed.

　A 72-year-old female was admitted to our service with chief complaints of headache and nausea on March 30, 1988. She had no neurological deficits on admission. However, CT examination revealed a round mass lesion in the left hypothalamus with dislocation of the brain stem.
