I．はじめに

　脳腫瘍の放射線療法後や，外傷後に髄膜腫が発生し易いことはよく知られているが，このような既往がない症例で，髄膜腫と下垂体腺腫が共存することは非常に稀である．今回われわれはacromegalic changeと頭痛にて発症したsphenoid ridge meningiomaとpituitary ade—nomaの共存例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え報告する．

Abstract

A case of sphenoid ridge meningioma and pituitary adenoma adjacent in the brain is reported.

A 70-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with headache. She had no neurological deficit but did have acromegalic change. Hormonal examination showed elevation of plasma levels of HUH (19.0ng/m/), with normal levels of the other hormones. Cl examina-tion revealed a tumor with calcification in the inner third of the sphenoid ridge and another in the pituitary fossa with suprasellar expansion. MRI showed flow void of ICA between these tumors.
