I．はじめに

　脳腫瘍に対する放射線療法の普及に相伴って，照射後数ヵ月から数年後に発症するradiation necrosisの症例が報告されるようになり，その発生機序，病理組織所見などが論議されている．今回われわれは，下垂体腺腫摘出後に放射線療法を受け，その6年後にradiation ne-crosisを生じ，かつ脳血管写上，脳主幹動脈に放射線照射によると思われる血管変化を呈した症例を経験したので，radiation necrosisにおける血管変化について，若千の文献的考察を加えるとともに，CT所見も併せて報告する．

A 64-year-old woman had received radiotherapy, followingsurgery of a chromophobe putuitary adenoma. Six yearsafter irradiation she began to complain of headache anddementia.

Right vertebrogram demonstrated a right temporal masslesion, stenosis and dilatation of middle cerebral artery andposterior communicating artery in the field of irradiation.

CT scan showd the irregular low density area at the righttemporal region, and the irregular enhancement after anintravenous injection of contrast medium was seen at thesmall part of affected area.
