I．はじめに

　形質細胞腫（plasmacytoma，以下PLと略）は，通常多発性の骨髄内増殖すなわち多発性骨髄腫（multiple myeloma，以下MMと略）という形をとるが，ときには髄外（軟部組織）で増殖（extramedullary plasmacytoma）することがある^1,3,20）．この場合，髄外増殖の部位としては，そのほとんど（約90％）が鼻咽腔，上気道であり，耳鼻科領域での報告は比較的多い．一方，頭蓋骨はMMの好発部の1つであるが，PLが主に頭蓋内に発育伸展し，あるいは頭蓋内に原発（髄外増殖）し，脳腫瘍症状を呈してくることは稀である^{1,3,5,10,12,20,21）}．われわれは最近かかる症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A case of multiple myeloma with intracranial extradural mass of the right parietal region was reported. The patient was 63-year-old female and was admitted to the hospital on February the 18th in 1970 with suspected brain tumor because of left hemiparesis and abnormal finding by CT examination. Neurological examination revealed moderate left spastic hemiparesis but no pathological tendon reflex was noted. None of the other neurological deficits were found. On plain skull X-P, right pariental bone defect with 5×7 cm in diameters was seen with unclear and partially distinct margin.
