I．はじめに

　内頸動脈欠損症の報告は比較的少ない．われわれは，軽微外傷後ケイレン発作で発症し，後頸部に血管性雑音を聴取したことにより脳血管撮影を施行し，両側内頸動脈欠損を認めた症例を経験したので，文献的検討を加えて報告する．

A 2 years old girl was admitted to the Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital because of right hemiconvulsion and vomitting after mild head injury on June 7, 1979. On admission. neurological examination revealed right hemiparesis without loss of consciousness, and systolic murmur was noticed on bilateral posterior cervical region.

Arch aortography showed bilateral internal carotid arteries abscent, and the vertebral angiography demonstrated the internal carotid circulation, which was supplied through bilateral posterior communicating artery. Bilateral vertebral artery dilated equally and basilar artery was also in a large caliber.
