Ⅰ．はじめに

　内外頸動脈の硬膜枝と，横静脈洞またはS状静脈洞間の動静脈瘻については1936年初めてTonnisがtransverse sinus angiomaとして報告したが，近年脳血管撮影の普及に伴い各地で報告されるようになった．本疾患はNewton^12）がdural arterio-venous malformationと呼んだごとく，先天的動静脈奇形と考えられている場合が多い．最近著者らは，左前頭部髄膜腫摘出後約2年半経過した後，左横静脈洞を中心とした硬膜動静脈瘻の発現をみた1例を経験したので報告する．

A case of dural arteriovenous fistulae found after removal of a meningioma was reported.

A 76-year-old man had undergone total removal of a left frontal convexity meningioma in our neurosurgical clinic on April 25, 1973. After the following two and a half years, during which he led a contented life at his home with only a few complaints of right-sided weak ness and slightly disturbed speech, he suddenly developed several attacks of Jacksonian seizure in December, 1975, and was admitted to our clinic on January 10, 1976, for suspected recurrence of the tumor.
