脊髄髄内神経鞘腫の1症例

A Case of Intrameclullary Spinal Schwanoma

Ⅰ．はじめに

　脊髄神経鞘腫は硬膜内髄外，あるいは唖鈴状に硬膜外に発生するのが一般的であり，髄内神経鞘腫は非常に稀れなものとされ，本邦ではいまだその報告はみられていない，最近，私達は30歳女性で空気脊髄写で確定診断し，手術により組織学的に確認された第1頸髄髄内神経鞘腫を経験したので，文献的考察を加えてここに報告する．

A rare case of intramedullary schwannoma of the spinal cord has been reported. The patient was a 30-year-old woman, who began to notice weakness in her right leg approximately 6 months prior to admission, followed 4 months later by numbness and weakness of the right arm. The above symptoms were progressively getting worse, and she was admitted to Hokkaido University Hospital on February 23, 1974.

Neurological examination revealed slow speech, bilateral horizontal nystagmus, absent gag reflex and weakness of right trapezius muscle.
