　悪性腫瘍摘出後に症状の著明な改善を示したパーキンソニズムの2症例を報告した．症例1は49歳，女性．約12kgの体重減少を来し，精査の結果，胃癌の合併が判明した．症例2は69歳，女性．下血を契機に直腸癌が発見された．2症例とも癌摘出術後に抗パーキンソン剤の効果は増強し，パーキンソン症状は著明に改善した．今回呈示した2症例のパーキンソン症状の発現には悪性腫瘍によるremote effectが関与していると推測された．

We reported two cases of parkinsonism in which marked symptomatic improvement was observed following the resection of carcinoma.

Case 1 was a 49-year-old female who lost weight about 12kg. Close examination revealed stomach cancer complication.

Case 2 was a 69-year-old female who had melena.

Rectal cancer was detected. Following the resection of the cancer, levodopa/carbidopa and anti-cholinergic agent have become more effective than before in relieving resting tremor, muscle rigidity, bradykinesia and postural instability in both cases.

We believe that this phenomenon represents remote effect of malignancy.
