緒言

　後腹膜腔に原発する悪性腫瘍は，その解剖学的特殊性のため症状の発現が遅く，早期診断が困難でかつ予後の不良な疾患である。最近われわれは後腹膜脂肪肉腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 55 year-old male presented with the chief complaint of a mass in the right upper abdomen. On examination, a large tumor was found in the right retroperitoneal space, that the right kidney and ascending colon were displaced by the mass. Under the diagnosis of retroperitoneal tumor, operation was carried out. Most of the mass was resected en block with the right kidney. The pathological diagnosis of the resected tumor revealed pleomorphic and myxoid typed liposarcoma. Postoperative irradiation therapy was performed. About 2 years following the operation, there is no evidence of recurrence.
