緒言

　腎脂肪肉腫は稀な疾患であり本邦報告例はわずか14例である（第1表）。また本症は悪性腫瘍のなかでは比較的予後が良好とされているが，長期の術後経過を観察したものはみられない。著者らは術後約5年間経過観察して再発転移なく予後良好な腎脂肪肉腫の1例を経験した。自験例を報告するとともに本邦報告例を集計し若干の文献的考察を加えた。

A 28-year-old woman was admitted complaining of flank mass with ache and fever. An excretory urogram and arteriogram revealed a large mass in the midportion of the left kidney. A left radical nephrectomy was performed through thoracoabdominal approach. The specimen weighted 1,400 grams. The tumor contained a hematoma, but no invasion was recognized to the renal capsule and the pelvic mucosa. The histological findings showed mixed type of liposarcoma. Recurrence has not been recog-nized for about five years after the complete excision. The 14th case of renal liposarcoma in Japan has been presented.
