緒言

　Hallberg, Wretlind^1〜4）の静脈用脂肪製剤（Intra-lipid），Dudrick^5）の小児外科および重症患者における著効例の報告以来，本邦でも静脈栄養に関心が集まり，外科を中心に本年はすでに第6回完全静脈栄養研究会が開催されて論文も出はじめているが^6〜8），当院においても独自に腎不全，その他の重症患者に対して中心静脈栄養を試みて効果があつたので，急性腎不全症例を中心に報告する。

Some effects were obtained by alimentation via central vein in 6 cases of acute renal failure of renal origin and 5 cases of acute renal failure of postrenal origin. Peritoneal dialysis was combined but one case died of ileus while the other 5 cases survived and it seems that the number of days and times of peritoneal dialysis could be shortend by combining central venous alimentation. All cases of postrenal origin were released from uremic stage.
