Ⅰ．緒言
下部尿路すなわち膀胱あるいは尿道の異物，または陰茎異物は，しばしば遭遇するもので，さして珍しい疾患ではない。しかしながら上部尿路（腎盂，尿管）の異物症例はまれである。南里1）（1936）の鍼の腎臓異物の1例，土居2）（1939）の腎臓異物の1例（迷入せる縫針），太中3）（1939）の留弾による腎臓異物摘出例，荒川，土居4）（1945）の鍼針による腎臓異物兼腎臓結石症例，斎藤5）（1951）の腎異物症例（弾片），重松ら6）（1960）の鍼針を核とした腎盂結石の報告例，また尿管については，前田ら7）（1957）の尿管異物の1例，最近では，酒徳ら8）（1966）の尿管カテーテル折損による尿管異物症例などが見られるに過ぎない。
われわれは，最近，原因不明の右腎部鈍痛および微熱が，術後の病歴を検討することによつて，上行性腎盂内異物に起因するものであることを確認し得た稀有な1例を経験したので，ここに報告する。
A case of foreighn body of the right kidney pelvis and ureter in a 15 years old boy, who inserted a 13cm long piece of bamboo grass in the urethra which moved retrogradely up to the bladder then to the ureter, for the purpose of masturbation, was reported. Patient underwent appendecotomy in a local hospital on the fourth day after inserting the foreign body since he did not inform the doctor about the foreign body. Ever since, he has been treated for pyelonephritis without any improvement and visited our clinic with the chief complaint of dull pain at the right kidney area, frequent urination and low grade fever.
